We need to be bathed by our trust in Jesus and what He did for us on the cross; there’s a sense in which that is done once and for all. But afterward, we have to continually have our feet washed in an ongoing relationship with and trust in Jesus.
firm foundation
I don’t know about you, but I want my life to be built on a firm foundation. I want to cultivate a heart that loves wisdom. I want to be a fountain of life for others to see God’s greatness. A friend who brings life to their friends. A daughter and a sister who brings life to her family. One day, a wife who brings life to her home. And a friend who exemplifies the glory of God to strangers. So what is the foundation of your life built on
something different
This week I wanted to do something a little different. I wanted to share some verses that I have leaned into throughout different seasons of my life. I’ve learned that relying wholeheartedly on scripture and God's words is the most important and best thing we can do.
sunday is coming
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a redemptive story. From the very beginning, God had set his son aside to save you & me– sinners. To right our wrongs before we even committed them, all so that we could have a seat at His table.
righteous judgment
We must change our mindsets from an us-versus-them mentality to a love-first one. No matter their beliefs, looks, choices, skin color, past mistakes, etc., we must choose to love first. We have to take every chance we get to share the love of God with others.
love… again
Choosing to love God with our whole hearts is the best decision we could ever make. It’s not always easy, and there are times when it feels impossible. But it’s not impossible. And when we feel as though we can’t love God, He continues to love us unconditionally– without conditions– no matter what.
