So often we are sent into a frenzy of worry when we aren’t sure of the next steps. Instead of focusing on what God can do, we focus on what we can’t do.
great shepherd
Are you letting Christ be the great shepherd of your life or is your head stuck in the grass?
the weight of the cross
Let the weight of the cross sink in. He gave His life so that we might live. I should be drowning in my sin, yet I stand here today forgiven. The crucifixion is the greatest act of love history has ever seen. Your sins are forgiven. Your greatest debts have been paid. Because of a God who loves so great we can’t comprehend it.
living water
My encouragement to you this week is to dig into who Jesus is. Reignite your love and passion for Him. Because the water that He will give you will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:14b). Run to the supplier of living water. Seek the everlasting fulfillment that He provides. Because I pinky promise that no one and nothing can give you what He can give you– eternal life.
season of unknowns
How often do we slip into a mindset of what God can do for us? I’ll admit I’m guilty of asking God for what I want more often than praising him for what he’s already given me.
plead the blood
It’s a phrase of surrender to God. It’s a phrase of protection. You are covered by the blood, nothing can take that from you. It’s understanding that we are not deserving of anything, yet we serve a God who loves us so deeply that he would offer the ultimate sacrifice– His son.
